After writing my update, 👓 read others experienced the same issue when they bought a new phone 📲. A few stated they kept their old 📞 just 4️⃣ Your Closet 😲
Recently purchased a 🆒🆕 phone (Samsung 20fe), when my old Samsung’s screen cracked 📵. Cheaper to get a new phone than to fix the old 1️⃣; but that’s a whole other story 🤦🏽♀️
Your Closet backs up 📡 to Google Photos & has a feature to restore your data 💾. The app recognizes 🕵🏽♀️ my Gmail but won’t restore🤷🏽♀️.
My final reasons for writing ✍🏽 an update, is to get someone at Google or Your Closet to notice negative reviews & fix 👩🏽🔧 the app. Or someone reading will have a solution 🙏🏽
We users have invested tons of time ⏳ (some of use YEARS) adding ➕ items into the app; would be FUCKED UP to lose it all❗️
As a fashion stylist, I take my clothes 👗 very seriously. This app was MY LIFE & am TRULY DEVISTATED 💔. The app will no longer take photos so can’t even add my hundreds of items back 😭
Let’s force 💪🏽 Google to hold the creators of Your Closet responsible 🙅🏽 for properly managing & updating their app. OR make Google delete 🚫 Your Closet from the Google Play Store if they won’t provide adequate technical support❗️

Horrible Google App “Your Closet” NEW UPDATE
I recently did a video on YT praising this app. Have been using it for 3 years without issue. A month ago I went to add a new item & the camera stopped working.
I tried for days and nothing. Sent a message to the tech team and got NO response. Continued to try the app & even tried to reach the tech team on their social media with zero results.
Finally, decided to uninstall and re-add to see if that would fix the camera force stop several times & made sure to do a fresh backup first. When I re-installed it populated my email so it recognizes my Google account but the Restore The Backup is greyed out!!
Reached out to Google & they said they can’t do anything. Said I need to leave updated feedback & hopefully someone at Google will read it & hopefully they will reach someone at Your Closet.
HOPEFULLY Your Closet will reach out to me & hopefully they will be able to restore ALL THE WORK I PUT INTO THE APP FOR 3 YEARS!
I had hundreds of items, with pricing & notes on EVERYTHING! AND NOW IT’S ALL GONE!!!!! SOMEONE BETTER RESTORE MY INFORMATION OR AT THE VERY LEAST NO LONGER OFFER THIS APP IF THEY ARE NOT CURRENTLY SUPPORTING IT!!!!

Love this app so far. I have the same complaints as other listed below. It would be nice to have the thumbnail display the outfit, or only show best possible instead of every combination. Cost per wear and the little color wheel are tough.
Otherwise I am addicted. Taking pics and organizing has been great fun. I have a lot of clothes and I have not felt like adding the content is a chore; it’s simple, straightforward and again fun!
